InterAction, an alliance of non-governmental organizations comprised of 191 members, appointed MIUSA CEO and Co-Founder Susan Sygall as one of seven new Board Members who were unanimously voted into office at InterAction’s 2015 Annual Members Meeting.
MIUSA has been a long-time member of InterAction and is honored to now serve on its Board of Directors. According to InterAction, Ms. Sygall and her fellow candidates were selected for their strong commitment to and proven expertise in international development as well as their broader outside perspectives to support InterAction’s mission.
InterAction President and CEO Sam Worthington personally noted that he looks forward to working more closely with Ms. Sygall as InterAction tackles the evolving role of the U.S. non-profits who work around the world to increase inclusion and human wellbeing, and eliminate extreme poverty.
