Welcome to the International Education Professional Pathway, a series of online learning modules for advisors, program directors, and others wishing to learn more about how to support Americans with disabilities who study or volunteer abroad. The pathway draws from resources at www.miusa.org. It consists of articles, videos, and quizzes.
How to Navigate the Pathway
Many of the resources have a lot going on, but you can stick to the pathway by following these steps:
- Look for the links in the light blue tiles to travel through the pathway. Screen reader users can find the tiles navigating by regions/landmarks.
- As you advance through the modules, click on the “test your knowledge” links to take short quizzes and receive updates on your progress. These links look like black buttons with white text.
- Within the steps of the pathway you will notice lists of links under “Related Resources” and “Related Links,” which respectively lead to related articles on the MIUSA website, and related articles on other websites. You are welcome to click through these, but please note that many of the resources are not part of the pathway.
- The quizzes are done with Google Forms for accessibility reasons. While it will message you that you need to be signed in to save your progress, you do not need to have a Google account to take the quizzes.
